Recent Comfort North Padre Island Review: "My wife and I stayed on the fourth floor with a view of the Gulf. Very nice. The bed was excellent, large and comfortable. The room was spacious for a couple and the walls were adequate to stop most noise except really aggressive door slamming. It was Labor Day weekend so the hotel was crowded. The staff was very friendly even though Sunday morning was a challenge at the provided breakfast (lots of kids). Breakfast is good however with a substantial selection of different items. Walking to the beach means crossing Windward which is usually not a challenge unless you have small children on a holiday weekend. Only nit-picks of the room were the loose sink fixture in the bathroom and weak batteries in the TV controller. All in all a great place to stay with nice clean rooms and friendly staff."
