Recent Holiday North Padre Island Review: "We (myself, my husband, 2 kiddos, & 1 baby) arrived at the hotel early on Spring Break and were still allowed to check in. Our room was very comfortable and within minutes of arriving at our room, customer service delivered a crib for the baby. There is a great pool overlooking the beach and there was even live music. The food was great. The only flaws  were a bug on the floor in the room (I don't like bugs), but in Texas, you CAN'T escape them (we live in San Antonio) and the other flaw was that when we checked in we were told that kids eat free at the continental breakfast- which is not true- you have to purchase a specific package for kids to eat free. Oh well. It was still wonderful!"
