Recent Knights Beach Review: "Ok, let's be real. The people who reviewed this hotel and gave it bad reviews are probably snooty rich ppl. Bottom line- It's not a more expensive brand name, but it's nice and worth the price paid. I paid a good price for 3 nights. (Thurs, Fri, Sat, and checked out Sun.) The beds were comfy, the a/c was very cold, it had full cable, the door locked!, mini-fridge and microwave, full bathroom, a balcony w a great view of the bay, close to all the restaurants and attractions of C.C. Bay, not far from South Padre Island Drive, not far from Port Aransas Beach or Mustang Island. The hotel staff were very friendly. The pool was ok, had a lil sand at the bottom, but it's right by the beach, what do you expect... after swimming on mustang island (itchy) then this pool is heaven. I was very satisfied with my stay, and i would definitely stay here again. I don't know why these other ppl say such horrible things about this hotel. I must be honest, I did look at the reviews prior to making the reservation, so i was a lil scared. After the first 20 minutes at the hotel, my worries were gone. Don't believe the hype about it being horrid, because it's not. They say you pay for what you get, well, this hotel gave me more than what i paid for. I was very pleased after 3 days in this hotel. The beds were clean, the bathroom was clean, maid service did a good job. I needed towels i got them right away, you know, it's hard to summarize three days into one review, but i think i got it all. I knew i had to leave this hotel a good review after all the garbage people leave on here. Take my word for it, and if you still have doubts, just ask for room 322, that's the one i stayed in."
